ACCOUNTANTS
Our support staff comprise individuals with professional qualifications or university graduates with diverse and varied background of experience such as commerce, retail, computing and agriculture. The mix of experiences adds value to our knowledge base.
Joseph began his career in the profession in 1999, he was senior accountant in a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants until he formed the present firm. Away from professional life he enjoys gardening, travelling, cycling and badminton.
Shiyamini has 10 years of experience in various payroll and bookkeeping positions but spent much of her subsequent career in teaching. She joined the firm in 2013 to head the firm’s admin payroll and bookkeeping divisions. In her spare time Shiyamini enjoys cooking reading and entertaining.
A large part of our work involves delivering services to individuals and businesses in specialist sectors. These niche sectors have been developed over years and in recognition our clients routinely recommend their colleagues.
We are actively involved in a number of trade and service organisations who assist us in developing our knowledge base so that we can be up to date on current events.
Working in these sectors means when new clients approach us they do not need to explain how their industry sector operates as we already have an in depth knowledge of it and from various different perspectives.
Jude Consultancy can assist you and add value to your business whether you are new to your industry sector or have been in it for a long time.
Your success is our success.
The last thing you want in your business is to have valuable time and resources tied up with routine bookkeeping and accounting, that’s something we can do for you.
We begin by discussing your specific requirements with you and then we set up appropriate accounting procedures and controls to ensure your accounts are kept fully up-to-date and in compliance with statutory regulations.
Administering payroll is becoming increasingly burdensome for many businesses, taking more and more time and resources away from core business functions.
Fortunately payroll can easily be separated from your other accounting activities and outsourced to a specialist agency such as Jude Consultancy. We offer a completely confidential and cost-effective service.
Value added tax is one of the most complex and onerous tax regimes imposed on business – so complex that many businesses inadvertently overpay or underpay VAT.
The ever widening scope of VAT, the constant stream of detailed changes to the regulations, and the ever growing demands of HMRC call for a trained professional eye to ensure that you do not fall foul of the regulations and do not pay the Exchequer more than you need to!
As with all our fees we aim to give you a fixed price, taking the worry away with your Self Assessment tax return and allowing you to concentrate on running your business.
As part of our paperless practice policy, we provide online software which allows you to login, check your self assessment tax return and approve online. This ensures that the tax return service we offer is as streamline and pain-free as possible.
Every limited company that is based in the UK is subject to corporation tax on their profits.
We can assist with the preparation of company accounts, company tax returns and tax computations and will also be able to provide advice on any tax planning areas that may benefit you and your company.
You want to start a business because you are an entrepreneur with a great idea and the vision to realise it. And we’re here to help you do just that.
We want you to focus on what you do best – building your business – while we provide all the necessary background support.
The dental profession has become quite complex in recent years from the manner in which individual practices and individuals are paid to how best to deliver a high quality service. The GDS (General Dental Service) and PDS (Personal Dental Service) contracts have brought on added uncertainties with mid-year and annual monitoring with claw backs and in some cases unpaid over performance. With the uncertainty of proper funding for NHS dentistry we see severe regional differences. Independent dentistry has therefore become the only choice for many dentists which is set to polarise the profession. With further de-regulation and the introduction of DCPs (Dental Care Professionals) we now see new corporate bodies entering the market further fuelling goodwill values.
Whether you are a salaried dentist, locum, associate, general dental practitioner or a specialist you will need help with your tax and accounting affairs.
Small to medium sized enterprises (SME) have never had it so tough in terms of endless government red tape. A recent study shows the cost of these regulations to be £13,464 a year for each business in implementing legislation. At Jude Consultancy we can soften the burden by advising you through the maze of regulations and how best to ensure compliance.
SME’s generally also suffer from lack of capital to invest in new technology to stay competitive or even to expand within a growing sector. Equally surviving during a downturn is just as arduous. With our hands on approach on advice we would ensure that you are making the best of your opportunities by securing adequate level of finance, empowering key members of staff, giving them a proportion of the ownership of the business, bringing in the next generation into the business in a planned and sensible manner, having a phased change of control and making sure that the business is not neglected when the next generation takes over.
Jude Consultancy can help not only advise from our professional background but also from our experience and similar challenges that we face on a daily basis.
The care sector is highly specialised, so without an in-depth knowledge of the sector we would not be able to deliver the breadth and depth of services you need to maintain viable businesses with a long term future. The sector is highly regulated, nationally and locally.
Constant changes in regulatory influence combined with Local Authority and NHS involvement in market management means that care providers need to be sensitive to the slightest changes to their commissioning and contract management strategies.
The construction industry is one of the most volatile sectors in the UK economy, and careful planning and advice are needed to maintain efficiency and competitiveness. With years of experience in this sector, we pride ourselves on having an understanding of the specific problems faced by builders and building and civil engineering contractors.
With ever increasing opportunities to work freelance, the freedom and flexibility to work as a self-employed individual to make more take-home pay is very appealing.
There is one downside, accounting. As an employed person your tax is taken care of on your behalf in the form of PAYE. Working as a freelancer you’ll have to keep a range of financial records, prepare a Self-Assessment tax return and pay tax at the end of each year.
In order to run your business smoothly and successfully, Jude Consultancy can help prepare your yearly accounts and tax return, assist you with advice on tax and accountancy throughout the year.
Final prices and services are subject to initial free consultation
